bridging programme - DAY 1
sigh... it's great that most of your hols start this week... NO FAIR. D:
our school told all the sec 2 express and sec 3 and 4 NA to go back to school. for us sec 2, we only need to go back for one week. i dunno for the others who are gonna have their 'o' levels next year lah.
so anyways, this bridging programme is to get us ready for next year, when we get promoted to sec 3. mainly only focused on history, english and maths...
today's first lesson was maths, in the LT, where all the people taking express maths come together and learn together. ms tan mui mui was our lecturer for the day. just for maths. WAHSEH. we had to do like dunno how many questions of algebra? ytd, i was really excited and hoped there'll only be algebra questions. and well, i was happy for a moment there today, but soon, i got a bit fed up, all bcos of the low 'table'. it's those kind that is connected to the chair one lah. i had to dip my neck down like dunno wad seh... my neck almost broke. x.x 2h somemore!
after recess was history. HOORAY! the teacher who taught us history at the first half of the year came and taught us!!! :DD missed her so much... so anw, yeah. she revised with us the techniques used for SBQ. and she also said that even if we're not gonna take elective history next year, we'll still need to use them for social studies, which is compulsory subject for all of us.
after 1h, it was english time. taught by ms siti. eeeyer. dun like that teacher. she was the one who set the geog papers. but that's NOT the reason why i dun like her kays! she told us to do comprehension, and only gave us 45 min. leave out the summary, tmr then continue doing. cos anw, i dun think there'll be enough time. the dismissal time is at 1235. after that she told us that we have english as one of the subjects they are focusing on for this bridging programme is cos our seniors had lots of problems after they go up from sec 2 to sec 3, for english. and she said that... WE WILL FAIL. wth?!
it's only day 1... ah wells. there's still more to come. have to do hw leh. D: maths... and history... and the history assignment will be used next year, so i think, it's a must to do.
